Saucepan and Lid Size:S built for Automatic Totalisators LimitedA dust covered aluminium saucepan and domed lid sit on a worn wooden surface inside one of Woolla's two slab huts on the Deua River. The walls behind it are lined with yellowed newspaper, torn and peeling away from the bare timber beneath. The newsprint was pasted behind the wallpaper when the huts were built in 1927 to seal the gaps in the hand split slabs. Part of the Woolla series.
