自身が所有する1937 年から1941 年までアメリカ陸軍航空隊のために生産されていたM-38 Hatをよりかぶりやすくするために再設計。

1930年代のアメリカ製カーコートがベース。ファーストシーズンで発表したものを再設計。

細部に生地の耳を使用している、膝上丈のやや短い丈が特徴。

素材は厚みがあってほどよく凹凸感のあるカツラギ生地を使用。縦横に 7/- 太番手のムラのないストレート糸を使用することで、綾目が綺麗に立ったスッキリとした表情に仕上げた。
