Cask No. 48.153 Israel so many hints - butThe nose tussled with us for a few brief moments before reluctantly yielding rathe delicious aromas of hessian, Battenberg cake, ripe yellow plums and tiger balm. A familiar 'big' distillate with eucalyptus resins and hints of cigarette rolling paper. Water brought lime juice, camphor and golden sultanas, also sheep wool oils, wintergreen and mechanical fluids on tool box rags. Brimming with character we agreed. The neat palate opened with a surprise
