Bolla - Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 2004 (750ml) California / Central Valley clean orchard fruit – melangePeppery, spicy, minty, cherry, almond, smoky, tobacco, floral nose but very warm. Warm, dense, round, somewhat tannic palate but warm with some acidity. Big meaty, smoky, cherry, plum, chocolate, leather, almond, minty flavours with a big warm, tobacco finish. Needs some hard cheeses or a venison stew to mellow out the edges.
